Ferguson, served in the 8th Regiment, Georgia Volunteer Infantry, during the American Civil War, and was stationed at Manassas Junction, Virginia, in 1861. The collection consists of letters received by Mrs. Ferguson, including some from her son, C.W. Ferguson.
